Testing! One... Two... Blogger? You here?
Okay, it looks like everything's back to normal. At least, as normal as things get around here. For those of us Blogger users who haven't trashed our computers over the whole 20-hour crash, we've survived to the end of another week so I guess it's time for my weekly accounting of my whereabouts:
- Sunday was my birthday! Woohoo! A few blogger buddies did some really cool stuff for me which I gushed on about and thanked them for here.
- To be honest, aside from that, I've been a bit quite this week. This was mostly because of some more on-the-job stress which I rambled about here.
- I also relayed a conversation Mrs. C (aka Diva) had with a really dense dude. Anyway, this post was done on the day of Blogger-Crash and went mostly unnoticed.
- Of course I did my weekly articles on Sprocket Ink where I wrote on an earthquake that didn't happen and ways to deal with personal online security or the lack thereof. If you haven't checked them out yet be sure to. They're awesome!
In my opinion, anyway.
And that's a wrap. Weekly wrap, that is. Next week I plan not to be as stressed as the AWOL coworker I've been covering for is set to make her triumphant return to her desk on Monday.
See y'all next week!
Unless Blogger crashes again... Or the world ends (That's next weekend, right?)
I wasn't aware of the outage! How's that for a dedicated blogger? I'm glad everything is back to normal and hope you had a great birthday.
ReplyDeleteThe outage was crazy, huh? Even though blogger was back up yesterday I don't think that it was still functioning properly so I suppose we shouldn't take it personally if we've hardly had any hits or comments on our blog the past couple days. Sad though when good writing goes unnoticed. Anyway, Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that you made it out alive from the Blogger disaster. I was afraid the end was near.
ReplyDeleteAhhh! Happy birthday buddy!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go out on the proverbial limb here and say blogger will crash again before the end of the world actually happens. #blogpocalypse
ReplyDelete@ Rene: Thanks, I did. I too didn't notice it. Nope! Not at all. Not for a second. Notice what, exactly It never happened.
ReplyDelete*Hands on ears* Lalalalala No! I can't hear you!
@ Empress: Plus, as an added bonus, it ate all of the original comments from that post.
@ Dr. Cynicism: I know, right? What's next? Frogs? Locusts? Facebook disappearing?
@ Sugar Free: Thanks. I'm still accepting belated birthday gifts, so you know.
@ dbs: I believe you're right on that assumption. Even though, for some, they might be one in the same.
First PS, then xbox, facebook, twitter had "issues", now blogger was gone...back...gone...maybe back?
ReplyDeleteCoincidence?...Or are there more nefarious forces at work?
It's them Grackles, Earl. I've got some tinfoil for your lampshade.
I'm with Antares, something big is going down. Yahoo was having issues as well. Maybe those crazy people that think the end of the world is coming on the 21st are onto something. Okay, it's hard for me to say that with a straight face. But what if they are...
